Jessica Krause Smith is a New York City based artist. With a rich portfolio of abstract paintings that spans more than two decades, she has continuously exhibited her work in New York in galleries and non-profit spaces. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Tang Museum in Saratoga Springs, New York and many private collections across the U.S. With her keen eye for aesthetics and deep understanding of color, Krause Smith has also seamlessly transitioned into art directing and graphic design for major global brands for many years in New York City, bringing a unique blend of creativity and strategic vision for each project. She graduated with honors from Skidmore College in 1997 with a concentration in Studio Art (Painting and Graphic Design). Krause Smith’s studio is in Greenpoint and she lives nearby in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
